2011 Personal Injury Results

2011 has been another great year for the firm’s personal injury practice and most importantly for the firm’s clients.  The law firm’s attorneys obtained notable settlement results including a $450,000.00 mild traumatic brain injury settlement, a $190,000.00 motor vehicle collision settlement, a $100,000.00 motor vehicle collision settlement involving a drunk driver, a $100,000.00 motor vehicle collision settlement involving a drunk driver colliding into a pedestrian in a cross walk, a $100,000.00 settlement for a car accident victim, and a $190,000.00 settlement for a client injured by defective medication. The firm filed numerous personal injury lawsuits on behalf of clients including cases involving medical malpractice, slip and falls, defective products, car accidents, and others. New clients retained the firm in 2011 to investigate and pursue a variety of personal injury claims including defective hip implant claims, Actos claims, medical malpractice claims, dental malpractice claims, wrongful death claims as well as car accident and premises liability claims.

In 2011, Sabatini and Associates, LLC achieved notable results in employment litigation.   The firm’s attorneys successfully settled numerous cases including a $410,000.00 age discrimination case against the United States, a $200,000.00 FMLA and ADA wrongful termination case, a $120,000.00 plus job reinstatement case involving disability discrimination, a $100,000.00 FMLA violation case, and a $50,000.00 religious discrimination case. The firm was retained by numerous individuals for wrongful termination and discrimination cases. The firm filed CHRO complaints and lawsuits on behalf of clients alleging wrongful termination on the basis of age, race, national origin, pregnancy, gender, disability, sexual orientation, color, and religion.  The firm also filed suit in cases involving FMLA violations, sexual harassment, whistle-blowing and in cases involving discrimination and discharge for bring workers’ compensation claims.  The firm continues to take on new clients and cases involving wrongful termination and discrimination.
